But in 1930s their fame was decreased as tree farms industry grew up. To make the market upwards, Germany started supplying feather Christmas trees with wide range of colors and fancy designs on tree stands. Artificial trees were disappeared in the time of World War II. After the war, feather Christmas trees were substituted by artificial Christmas trees made up of synthetic materials, like aluminum and visca. It is no wonder why the feather Christmas trees are popular now to decorate homes in German traditions.
